Our private duty nurses are composed of Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). They offer one-on-one medical care and are qualified to offer this care in the comfort of your own home to help you remain independent for as long as possible.
Private Duty Nursing (PDN) is hourly and provides more continuous skilled care than can be provided in a skilled nurse visit. They offer a wide range of services to support seniors with their daily lives, from nursing care to transportation services to meal preparation and companionship. They also develop caregiver competencies through training and education and optimize patient health status and results.
Examples of private duty nursing services may include:
- New ventilator-dependent patients
- New tracheotomy patients
- Patients who depend on other device-based respiratory support, including tracheostomy care, suctioning, and oxygen support
- Patients who are chronically ill and who need comprehensive skilled nursing care to stay at home
- Patients who require prolonged intravenous nutrition or drug therapy that cannot be covered by Home Infusion Therapy services
Our private duty nurses are always available whenever you need them. From scheduled nursing visits to hourly care, you can guarantee that there is someone to help you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
If you have question about this service, please don’t hesitate to call us.
